Carlsbad, CA – April 2, 2019 – Palomar Display Products, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a $40,714,894 contract add-on modification to deliver gunner display systems for the M1 Abrams tank. The new total contract value is in excess of $78 million.

These optically coupled display systems have been designed, tested and qualified by Palomar Display Products, Inc.  and over 6,000 of these particular units have been delivered to date to US and International customers.

The orders include Next Generation Image Control Units (NGICU) digital color optically coupled display systems and spare parts. These displays have been designed, tested and qualified by Palomar Display Products Inc. to operate in the harshest mobile environments worldwide. All deliveries under this contract will take place through 2019.
