Palomar Display Products, Inc. announced today the issuance to it by the US Patent Office patent # 8,526,108 that covers the manufacturing of a diffused but transmissive imaging screen to be utilized with a high definition, color micro-display. This invention, optically coupled with a Biocular lens, creates the technology that replaces CRT image source in Palomar’s Next Generation Image Control Units (NGICU), designed specifically for turreted armored vehicle applications.

Palomar Display Products, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a $2.2M firm fixed price contract by the US Army Contracting Command to deliver military display systems for the M1A2 Abrams tank fire control system.
These high resolution, optically coupled displays have been designed and qualified for the M1A2 Abrams tank and will be supplied to the US Army for an International customer. All display systems under this contract will be delivered through 2014.

Palomar Display Products, Inc. announced today that it was awarded two firm fixed price contracts totaling $1.3M to deliver thermal sight displays to a major US Military System Integrator.

Palomar Display Products, Inc. will deliver high-resolution displays that will be installed in armored personnel carriers and light armored vehicles. All product deliveries for these two contracts will be completed in 2013.
