reliability, single lightweight ruggedized package.
Display
electronics incorporate advanced technology into a
standalone, compact ruggedized package weighing 13.8
pounds. Exceptional performance and reliability are
provided.
The
monochromatic Model 8000 is sunlight readable, with
a display output greater than 200 fL and a contrast
ratio of 6:1 @ 10,000 fc ambient illumination.
It
is fully compatible with AN/AAQ-16 night vision systems
for new or retrofit installations, as well as with
Gen II and Gen III vision goggles.
The
front control panel features 14 pushbuttons with 14-bit
encoded outputs, day/night/off switch, contrast and
brightness adjustment, display size, center and symbol
brightness adjustment, and Video 1 or 2 select. Front
panel functions can be customized for specific requirements.
