Avionics Panel Display delivers the quality and performance
needed for high-brightness, high-resolution, and sunlight
readability.
We have enhanced the brightness of the
Panel Display Unit (PDU) by combining narrow band
phosphor with a spectrally matched narrow band filter.
The resulting contrast ratio - a 6:1 ratio at 10,000
fc incident illumination - allows our Avionics Panel
Display to be easily read even in a bright, daylight
filled environment. The PDU technology also offers
high-resolution, featuring a maximum half amplitude
spot width of .009 inches at 200 fL of brightness.
The PDU's weight is less than 12 pounds.
The Display Electronics Unit (DEU)
provides power in the forms needed by the PDU. It
features deflection capability, built-in test function,
and separate video amplifier modules for accurate
control of brightness and contrast. This modular technology
can drive up to three displays simultaneously. The
DEU's weight is less than 11 pounds.
