The Second Generation HIRE
display unit was developed for maximum FLIR interface
capability off the HIRE I design.
This display incorporates new features to maximize
the capabilities of today’s higher performing
FLIR’s. This display will support the high performance
480 X 4 Sensor’s as well as lower resolutions.
Palomar Display Products pulls from years of legacy
designs from Hughes Aircraft and incorporates years
of engineering design for military FLIRs that have
been improved for today’s technical surface
combat environments.
Palomar Display Products Second Generation HIRE display
incorporates the highest performance display in the
LAV family of vehicle displays. The fiber optic CRT
generates the highest contrast ratio of any of our
LAV display family. This coupled with Palomar’s
history of high performance video electronics reduces
any degradation from the FLIR sensor. This has been
the video display solution for the highest performing
requirements of many of the armed forces.
